What are podiatry services?
Podiatry (the modern name for chiropody) is a specialist area of healthcare allied to medicine which involves the care and maintenance of foot and lower limb conditions. As podiatrists, we aim to improve our patients’ independence, mobility and general quality of life.

Most NHS clinics have waiting times of 3 - 6 months
The National Health Service provides Podiatry treatment, but this service is mainly for high-risk patients with medical conditions like Diabetes.
Most NHS Podiatry departments have adopted a policy of non-routine treatment and are currently unable to perform the task of nail cutting. A nail cutting service is an important part of routine foot and nail care which we offer at St Andrews Podiatry as well as a range of other podiatry services.
We take pride in the friendly atmosphere in our practice and the quality of our Podiatric care.
