Home visits and evening appointments on request
Martha Watt and Jackie Shand have joined forces and combined their skills and experiences to offer a wide variety of foot treatments within a new and exciting clinic on Largo Road in St Andrews, Fife. "We pride ourselves on our commitment to provide a professional, helpful and affordable service to our patients."
Graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1994 with a BSc in Human Biology and a Diploma in Podiatry.
Jackie worked with the NHS in Dundee for 20 years. This included work in community clinics, Domiciliary visits, Care Home visits and hospital based work. She was also an NHS Cleanliness Champion and she applies all this knowledge to her daily practice.
She started her private practice in 2003 and split her time between the NHS and her own private practice, only giving up her NHS work in the summer of 2014. On moving to larger premises two years ago and joining forces with Martha, St Andrews Podiatry was born!
Martha graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2007 having
previously worked as a social worker for many years. She worked as a
Specialist Podiatrist with Angus and Tayside NHS. During this time she
gained a broad spectrum of experience in pathologies of the foot and
lower limb which was invaluable to her career.
Martha spent many years developing a successful domiciliary practice within Fife before starting St Andrews Podiatry with Jackie Shand.
Martha lives in Lundin Links with her husband Alex and her grown up children, Trisha and Andrew.
